One guest explained that these were actually great fishing bait so I developed an interest in these grasshoppers.  I also read that they can tear up your garden so I am now hoping for a fisherman!

Casa Bella's Busy Summer

This is absolutely one of my favorite months of the year.

I know . . . it's hot and humid and prone to violent storms. But in spite of all that I still love the long days of summer and finding time in my day for a refreshing swim in our sparkling saline pool.

Our first summer as Casa Bella Bed and Breakfast is shaping up to be a busy one. We have been full for the past few weekends with guests from around the world.

Coming up on the Coweta Calendar is our popular Powers Festival that takes place in Newnan every Labor Day. Artists gather under a canopy of large oaks. Our whole community participates and plays hosts to thousands of visitors from around the south.

Guests can also opt for a single cup from our popular Keurig coffeemakers-conveniently placed through out the Bed and Breakfast! The pod-style single cup makers are perfect for an early morning cup before a jog or walk around our wonderful historic district and have been a big hit with guests.

Our pretty 700 sf cottage will soon reopen as a modern vacation rental available available fully furnished with a well-stocked kitchen and small screened porch!

The cottage comfortably sleeps two on a pretty queen bed and offers a large bath with walk-in shower, closet with 5-drawer chest, a small living area with color TV, cable with movie channels, high-speed internet, and secure, private off-street parking. and weekly housekeeping.

Situated off the pool area the cottage is a quiet retreat with all the modern amenities of a luxury hotel suite. Eat in or walk to town to one of our specialty restaurants or cafes. 

Convenient to Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, our pretty cottage is ideally situated near Atlanta on I-85.  Whether your flying in or driving our well-furnished vacation rental is a pleasant alternative to a sterile hotel.
